Our Leadership

Steve Highlander, Senior Leader

Pastor Highlander brings over 40 years of diverse ministry experience to our church. From Pastoring 5 churches in the Midwest to living on the mission field in the South Pacific and West Africa, Pastor Highlander has seen a lot. He holds a Doctorate in Pastoral Theology and is ordained by The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, The Foursquare Church of Papua New Guinea, and Apostolic Team Mission  (ATM) international. His passion is helping people find and fulfill their place in the Body of Christ. Steve and his wife, Renee, live in Ottawa with their dog, Callie.

Troy Greisen, Associate Pastor, Elder

Troy grew up in OCFC working with his father, Rev. Clyde Greisen. After his father’s passing in 2021, he served as interim pastor. He currently serves as Administrative Pastor and Church Elder. Troy is in the process of becoming licensed with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. He resides with his family in Texas.

Kendrick (Ken) and Cherree Keeton, Elders

Ken and Cherree were set in as Elders in the Church in 2025. As Elders, they assist with the spiritual leadership of the Church and helpwith pastoral duties.

Church Council

Our Current Council Members are: Larry Hensik, John Hickock, Troy Greisen, and Steve Hull. The Senior Pastor serves as President of the Council.

Foursquare Churches operate with an advisory Council that is nominated by the current Council Members, approved by the Senior Pastor, and voted on by the Congregation. The Council provides input on the physical aspects of the ministry, including facilities and finances. Functionally, they serve as Deacons.

Steve Highlander is the Senior pastor of the Community Foursquare Chapel in Ottawa, KS and serves as an FMI missionary to the South Pacific Country of Papua New Guinea. Steve has a doctorate in Pastoral Theology and is ordained with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel and the Foursquare Gospel Church. of Papua New Guinea. He also works with Harvestime International Institute to set up Bible Colleges around the world. He is a published author, and Bible college teacher. His ministry is focused on the Body of Christ and the gifts of the Holy Spirit in the local church. His passion is leadership development, training, and discipleship. He and his wife, Renee, were married on March 1, 2025.
